Patient survey team
While this role doesn’t involve direct patient contact, volunteers are certain to meet a variety of staff and patients as they complete the collection round and return the completed cards to the Patient Experience office. This role may suit someone who doesn’t want direct patient contact.
Times: Flexible, two hours between 10:00 – 17:00

Our team of Survey volunteers help this to happen, as they visit patients due to be discharged from hospital and ask them to complete our friends and family survey. Each ward has its own iPad for this purpose and our volunteers liaise with ward staff so they know which patients to assist. The iPad is very simple to use and full training is given, so don’t let technology put you off! We’re looking for people who are keen to help us improve our services and who enjoy meeting a wide variety of people.
Times: 10:00 – 12:00

Our Major Trauma Service team collect important data to feed into national statistics. As a PROMS volunteer you will be visiting adult patients around the hospital who have experienced major trauma to collect data on their recovery experience.
Times: Morning or afternoon
